Generating an I-94

What is an I-94?

The Arrival and Departure Record is the I-94, in either paper or electronic format, issued by a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer to foreign visitors entering the United States.

Once you are reached US you should generate an I-94 and keep it with you for future reference.

"U.S. Customs and Border Protection has automated Form I-94 at air and sea ports of entry. You do not need to use the website to apply for an I-94; you will be provided an electronic I-94 at the air or sea port of entry by the CBP Officer. "

During the generation of I-94 you may face issues if your name exceeds the maximum allowed alphabets. So please try to truncate your name one alphabet at a time to find the correct name which is entered by the  officer

This I-94 is mandatory for Social security number and State ID
